Dishboard – online menu for restaurants and more

Brief Description:
Dishboard is online platform aiming to help restaurateurs to effortlessly create captivating online menus, generate QR codes, and seamlessly integrate them into their establishments.
Although still in its early stages of development, my project promises a host of exciting features to boost and streamline the dining landscape. From a customizable restaurant landing builder to intuitive online table reservation systems, we aim to cater to every aspect of restaurant management.
Role:
Founder, Project Manager, Bubble (low-code platform) Developer, Lead Designer, Art Director.
My Goals for this project:
Dishboard is my personal pet project. From the outset, I aimed to approach it professionally, taking on roles not only as a designer but also as a product owner, product manager, and developer of the service.
This project aims to achieve several objectives:
Gain a better understanding of launching a startup.
Enhance skills in interacting with clients and potential users.
Venture into a new design area - SaaS products for the restaurant business.
Gain practical experience in web development on a low-code platform.
Study the profession of project management.
Create my own small pet project - because it's cool!
If successful, generate a modest income stream from service subscriptions.
Key Responsibilities:
Researching competitors, the restaurant business, and restaurant websites.
Creating a product backlog, including both essential features for the MVP launch and future enhancements (such as bills split calculator, order list/basket, custom theming, online table reservations, and more).
Project management: creating epics, user stories, tasks, sprints, etc using the Agile methodology. For project management and documentation, I utilize the open-source Taiga.io platform (similar to Jira).
Prototyping and screen schematics.
Working directly on the project in Bubble.io (low-code dev platform).
Designing the project landing page, serving as the entry point for restaurant owners.
Platform design.
Finding and integrating third-party solutions (such as QR code generators, etc.).
More detailed description of the project:
Dishboard is a SaaS platform designed for restaurant owners to effortlessly create online menus using an intuitive builder. Beside of creating menu and translate it to any languages he wants owners can add contacts, buttons, and links to social media and delivery services, as well as embed a map for easy navigation using mobile map apps. However, the most crucial feature is the built-in QR code generator, enabling restaurant owners to print and place QR codes on tables, allowing patrons to easily access menus in their preferred language (with support for multilingual menus). This eliminates the need for printing new paper menus, saving time and resources. The described functionality is my goal for the MVP version, with a backlog containing numerous features and additional functionalities.
